Laura Marine began life at Laura Webster, in a close-knit family of four children in Sunman, Indiana. She remembers being called an artist at a very young age by family and later, teachers. Drawing and creating came naturally and becoming an artist was never a conscience choice, but more of an instinct.

Working her way through college, she graduated at the top of her class from ACA College of Design, Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1988. After college, Laura worked in an advertising agency. Then, she ran her own advertising business, before joining a corporate advertising department as a Graphic Artist – and she remained in that position for 10 years. Moving within the same company, she worked as a Merchandising Analyst and finally a Product Manager, giving her the insight into buying habits and purchasing trends.

Little Chickadee Studio was born out of a desire to use her talents to help people communicate their feelings of love, more and more often. Laura’s artwork brings attention to the potential beauty of small forgotten or discarded items. Using recycled materials is a natural fit for her products.

Laura currently works and resides with her very supportive family, husband - Tom, and two daughters - Clara and Olivia in Zionsville, Indiana.
